The Airless Alternative

In turbine-blast machines, high speed, paddle-bladed wheels propel volumes of media onto component surfaces. Airless turbine-blast machines are often the best choice when general cleaning or overall surface treatment is required, since they perform the work rapidly and without the added expense of compressed air.

Guyson has expanded the possibilities in dryblast cleaning and surface finishing by combining a line-up of specially designed and adapted automatic machines with expertise in the full range of blast media, including many non-abrasive engineered materials for cleaning of molds, dies and other precision tooling.

Guyson's media reclamation and dust separation system is more sensitive than that found in ordinary shotblast equipment. This enables use of finer media, including microscopic beads that clean gently without causing erosion or dimensional change and other impact treatment media that create distinctive surface finishes on modern materials.
